In a few recent conversations at Incahoots, we discussed some of our favorite things about the fall season.

Natalie

Natalie

Natalie likes the comforting feeling of a warm drink on a chilly day. She pointed out that we have a plethora of tea pots and cute mugs that make that drink even more special. She loves the fall colors and enjoys smelling all the new fall Yankee Candle scents. She looks forward to the excitement of unpacking the new merchandise and being the first to see what has arrived.

Dianne

Dianne

Dianne loves the colors of fall – the reds, oranges and yellows of the potted mums, the assortment of cut flowers and foliage, and the beautiful fall wreaths that adorn almost every wall at the store. She also enjoys the feeling of fall. There is excitement in the air and the holidays are just around the corner!

Janet

Janet

Janet can hardy resist a nice scarf and keeps us well stocked with a variety of beautiful scarves. They are perfect for snuggling into on a cool autumn day. She also loves fall gardening and the promise of winter veggies in the garden.

Brian

Brian

Brian enjoys a nice cup of hot tea on a cool crisp day. He can usually be found drinking Assam Breakfast, All Day Breakfast or Ceylon Breakfast, but he also looks forward to trying the new teas that come in. New teas this fall include a new selection of reds and some chocolate teas. Of these, the Coconut Cocoa is his favorite.

Miranda

Miranda

Miranda had only one thing to say when asked her favorite thing about the fall: Halloween! She’s been planning her costume for some time now! We have a spooktacular collection of Halloween decor here at the store including jewelry, candles with frightful scents, candle holders, signs, recipe books and more.

Marcel

Marcel

Marcel did not hesitate when picking his favorite thing about fall, he knew right away: Yankee Candles! The fall scents are some of his favorites. He loves Pumpkin Pie, Harvest, Autumn Leaves, Spiced Pumpkin and Cranberry Chutney. He also likes to wear scarves and reportedly has a briefcase full of them at home.

Alena

Alena

Alena loves curling up with a good book and planning her next outdoor adventure. She can commonly be found with a hiking book in her possession and Incahoots always has several good ones to choose from. She also enjoys journaling and can quickly fill pages with her thoughts and ideas. She has already inspected the vast selection found a the store. They are all so nice, it’s hard to choose a favorite! `AW

From the instructor:

“I got the inspiration for the [gourd painting] style I currently use by taking a henna painting class in Portland. While I liked the henna designs I wanted them to last longer.”
