New Willow Tree

Willow Tree figures represent qualities and sentiments that help us feel close to others, heal wounds or treasure relationships. Artist Susan Lordi’s sculptures communicate elegance, simplicity, peace and serenity. Her hand-carved forms reveal their expression through gestures only… a tilt of the head, placement of the hands, a turn of the body. “Emotions and feelings are left to the viewer to discern,” says Susan, “which makes them very personal.”

You’ll find a great new selection of seasonal candle colors in a variety of sizes here now at Incahoots. Many are from one of our favorite candle suppliers, Vance Kitira. Here’s a bit about the designer:

Vance Kitira shares two worlds, drawing inspiration and spiritual growth from his native Thailand and energy from his adopted country, the United States.
As a forester studying land conservation, he traveled throughout southern seas – developing a fascination with nature and a desire to capture its beauty through design. The limitless materials, textures and colors became the sources of inspiration for the products he created then..and now. The commercial opportunities abroad enticed Vance to seek customers for his produces in the United States. What started out as a ceramic fish and silk flower business soon gave way to themed collections of garden furniture, home decor items and handcrafted candles designed to work in harmony, revealing a lifestyle with its roots in nature.
The first products were sourced through local Thai factories but as the business began to grow, he enlisted the help of his family to manage the production process. Today, 250 craftsmen in two factories support his creative and sales efforts. Vance’s journey of self-discovery and life-improvement for his family was truly inspired by nature’s renewal and is embodied in every design.
